Welcome to join us for an evening of deep connection, community spirit and singing of devotional Heartsongs and Mantras with Byron Bay's own world traveling chant leader Kevin James.

He and his partner, Susana, will guide this heartfelt circle, inviting you to join in song and mantra as a way to reconnect, rediscover your essence, and return home to the heart.

Kevin James' Chanting Circles are more than just musical gatherings; they are co-creative and empowering experiences where you may find yourself singing your heart out, dancing in blissful joy, and embracing the profound silence that naturally follows.

For more than 10 years, Kevin and Susana have traveled the world with the heartfelt mission of uniting people through mantra and HeartSongs, helping us remember who we are beyond the illusions of the ego and reconnect with our shared humanity.

Blending ancient mantras with his own HeartSongs, Kevin’s music is a rich fusion of devotional chanting that transcends borders. Drawing inspiration from Indian Kirtan, Rainbow Bhajans, Celtic and Sufi chants, and Western folk traditions, his sound is a celebration of diversity and unity.

Kevin’s songs and mantras carry a deep message: they are an invitation to reconnect.

This movement honors the sacred traditions of the world, embracing their universal truths and shared Oneness. Each HeartSong is a modern hymn of devotion, imbued with intention and purpose—to quiet the thinking mind and open the doorway to the bliss of the heart.

This is not just a musical event but an opportunity for deeper connection—with yourself, with others, and with the universal language of the heart. Together, we’ll create an atmosphere of love, unity, and belonging.

What's a chanting circle?

🌟 Flute Savasana

After we chant, we will embark on a Sound Journey with the sound frequencies of the Japanese Zen flute that travel straight to the heart and work their way up to open our minds to the higher realms of existence.

Get comfortable and focus on the sense of listening. Allow yourself to be taken on a journey into the unknown with the meditative and hauntingly beautiful sound of Japanese Shakuhachi bamboo flute, together with the healing sounds of the Crystal bowls.

About the "Healing Tones" Workshop - 30th March

Self harmonization vocal workshop for inner alignment and wellness

Improve and open your voice, reconnect to your true self, clear emotional blockages and give your energy centers a cleanse and tune up with the power of sacred sounds and mantras.

This introductory workshop involves a deep dive into the healing tones within.

It's a transformative experience designed to help you to awaken the healing power of your natural voice to reduce stress, deepen self-awareness, and upscale your happiness and appreciation levels.
In this workshop we share 2 powerful voice meditation practices, combined with mantra chanting, and freestyle choir singing for a holistic journey of emotional healing and vocal liberation.

You will be supported to open up to an effortless way of singing and connect to your natural voice with emotion and feeling (the essence of Bhakti). You will learn how this has a direct connection to your true authentic self and how you relate to life.

The Healing Tones workshop is accessible to all levels of singing and provides tools you can integrate into daily life. By combining sound, breath, and awareness, you’ll feel more balanced, expressive, and connected to yourself and others.
